Summer 2010

New Cumnock's Community Garden Wildflower Meadow - Full of flowers to attract bumblebees and butterflies!

The woodland and bog garden are full of summer growth...

The garden is being well used this summer, with plants in the greenhouse and gardening by the New Cumnock Gardening Club, Junior Community Council and the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

Hopefully as we go into next year we will be able to develop plans for the garden further - watch this space!

Keep an eye out for wildlife over the summer months - did you know that 2010 is the International Year for Biodiversity? http://www.biodiversityislife.net/

Why not do something for biodiversity and take part in the Big Butterfly Count - 24th July-1st August 2010
